After spending 25 years in the real estate and fitness industries, I decided it was time to pursue something I truly loved: baking. I’ve always believed that enjoying dessert and living a healthy lifestyle can go hand in hand.

Today, more people than ever are mindful of what they eat, and I wanted to create baked goods that remind people that life is about balance, moderation, and enjoying the simple pleasures. As a culinary school graduate, baking has always been a passion of mine.

I started by making cookies and pound cakes and selling them at local farmers markets. The response from customers was incredible, and before long, I found a small storefront on Haddon Avenue in Collingswood, New Jersey. On March 1, 2025, I opened Mario’s Famous Cookies & More.

During the week, I baked and packaged every product in a local commercial kitchen, then opened the store on weekends to share them with the community. As demand continued to grow, I realized it was time to take the next step. I made the decision to expand the bakery so everything could be prepared and baked right here in my shop. This allows me to offer more fresh-baked products, serve my customers more days each week, and continue growing without compromising on quality.

One product, however, changed everything: the cinnamon rolls. They quickly became the signature item and inspired the next chapter of my journey. With that success came a new vision, and Mario’s Baking Co. was born.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of Collingswood and the surrounding communities. Every visit, every purchase, and every kind word has helped turn a lifelong dream into reality, and for that, I am deeply grateful.

People often say, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” It may sound cliché, but I’ve discovered it’s true. Every morning, I have the privilege of doing what I love, and I’m honored to share that passion with you, one fresh-baked treat at a time.
